Guillotine
Vitrocsa’s Guillotine system is a vertical sliding window solution that enables expansive floor-to-ceiling openings which glide open effortlessly upwards or downwards. Named for its vertical movement with double or triple glazing, the Guillotine system comprises large glass panels that slide past each other (or a counterweight) to open the entire height.

Vertically Panoramic
The Guillotine design opens up multi-story views and admits light from top to bottom. With no intermediate transoms, you get a continuous glass expanse that, when opened, forms a lofty portal to the outdoors.
Heavyweight Capability
Each moving panel can weigh on the order of 500 to 1000 kg (depending on range) and still function effortlessly The system’s counterbalance mechanism and optional motorization are engineered for reliability under extreme loads.
Multiple Configurations
Flexibility is built-in – you can have both panels move (meeting in the middle when closed), or one fixed and one mobile, or even multiple stacked panels for very tall openings.
Safe and Streamlined
Despite the name “guillotine,” safety is paramount: the system includes fail-safes like braking mechanisms and sensors when motorized, preventing sudden drops.
