  • Vitrocsa System(s): Curved, Invisible Frame

Piaget VIP Rooms is an internal architectural installation by Pierre Studer at the Piaget manufacture in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva. The design organises space into three overlapping circular volumes. Vitrocsa TH+ curved sliding glass systems with invisible frame define these volumes, forming a striking, fluid enclosure with minimal visible structure.

In the centre, a circle with a 3.8 m radius uses eight curved sliding window panes. Two adjacent circles each have a 2.7 m radius with three sliding leaves. Each assembly stands 3.2 m high. The challenge was to meet strict acoustic insulation requirements while offering maximum spatial flexibility. The three circular sliding configurations can function as three separate VIP spaces or a single large room. The curved application supports a 3 m radius for mobile elements and a 1.5 m radius for fixed glass.
