Former Rocks Police Station is a heritage adaptation by Welsh+Major, situated in the historic The Rocks district of Sydney. The project introduces Vitrocsa TH+ guillotine windows along the building’s façade facing Nurse’s Walk. These are configured as three aligned guillotines with fixed lower panes that act as a guard rail, creating a refined vertical glazing solution that balances transparency and safety. The installation enhances natural light and views while respecting the character of this landmark setting at the heart of The Rocks.

The original building dates from the early 1880s and has been revitalised from its former life as a police station into a contemporary space with glazed interventions that bring new use and energy to the historic fabric.
