- Vitrocsa System(s): Turnable Corner
Château Troplong Mondot sits at the heart of its historic Saint-Émilion wine estate, home to the Michelin-starred Les Belles Perdrix restaurant and sweeping vineyard views. A full renovation of the restaurant features a Vitrocsa TH+ Turnable Corner window system that transforms the terrace into an open, continuous connection with the exterior. The Turnable Corner lets glazed panels slide and pivot into corners, creating a full opening with no visual barrier between inside and outside. Meeting the project’s static requirements led to a bespoke solution to absorb structural movement at the top of the assembly. This engineering ensures smooth operation while preserving minimal sightlines and enhancing the architectural experience of the vineyard landscape.
